Make a lasting gift to The Pilot

One of the simplest ways you can support The Pilot is by naming The PIlot in your will. This type of gift costs you nothing during your lifetime and will enable The Pilot to benefit from the full amount of your bequest gift that might otherwise go to federal estate taxes.

How to make a bequest
A planned gift to The Pilot will help sustain our future work of sharing the Good News of the Church as we provide readers, listeners and viewers with easier access to Catholic news.

Below is some sample wording for you to include in making your bequest to The Pilot.

I give and devise the sum [written dollar amount or percentage of the estate] to iCatholic Media, Inc., a Massachusetts charitable corporation, as it does business as The Pilot for the general purposes, operations and improvements of The Pilot.

We suggest you contact your attorney to draft or update your will, or ask your attorney to contact us. Because each bequest is unique, we can help define the appropriate wording to allow your lasting and generous gift to have the greatest impact.

Let us thank you. Join The Pilot Bequest Society
If you notify The Pilot with your intent to support the newspaper with a planned gift, you can become a member of The Pilot Bequest Society. Your membership allows us to express our gratitude to you, keep you in our prayers in a special way, and helps us plan for the long-term. You also become part of The Pilots most dedicated and generous benefactors.

There are no dues. Just an invitation to special events and the promise of our prayers.

If you have already included The Pilot in your estate plans or would like to learn more, please call Marilyn Collins at 617-779-3789.
