A World Mission Rosary of Prayers

As you read this, we hope you and your families are well. During these strange and difficult times, we want you to know that all our donors, benefactors, and friends are in our daily prayers, as well as in those of the missionaries we support.

We are hearing from our friends in the missions, who are keeping us updated on situations they are facing. We'd like to share a few with you.

From Ghana: I pray and hope all is well with you in the face of the terrible pandemic that has engulfed the entire world. It's indeed a terrible time for us but I trust that God will see us through. We are doing our best here to keep to the restrictions but it's not easy in the village settings. How will people here stockpile foodstuffs or firewood, not to mention go to the riverside to fetch water without going out? It's a great challenge. Kindly let all know that we are together in prayer. Peace and Love, Father Sylvester

From Brazil: I worry about the vulnerable people: the 53 million who live in Brazilian shantytowns, the 150,000 who live in our streets, and the thousands who live in refugee camps on the border with Venezuela. They have no access to healthcare. Let's continue to pray. God bless you and keep you, Father Pat McGillicuddy, C.Ss.R.

From Ireland: Easter greetings! I ask God's blessings on all the inhabitants of Boston during these trying times of COVID-19. We are all affected by this virus in every corner of the world. As we celebrate the Lord's Resurrection may we all experience the hope of a new life in Jesus, the Savior. Father Pat Byrne, SVD

From Papua New Guinea: Christ is our light! We are in solidarity with you all. Happy Easter. Please stay safe! Bishop Donald Lippert, OFM Cap.

From the Philippines: How are you? I hope you and all your families are safe. In the Philippines, it is a total lockdown. I remember all of you at the foot of the Cross. Please keep safe and God bless you all! Father Lasantha Fonseka

As you can see, our greetings come from every populated continent -- it is truly a World Mission Rosary! People of faith from Africa, the Americas, Europe, Oceania, and Asia are standing in "social solidarity" with us, their brothers and sisters in Christ.

Please stand with them in prayer, and if you are able at this time, in sacrifice as well. Give to the missions. Www.propfaithboston.org
