Sunday, June 14, 8-9 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Prince Albert: Victorian Hero Revealed." This profile of Queen Victoria's consort, who died in 1861 at age 42, explores the little-known yet profound role he played in shaping the Britain of his era (TV-PG -- parental guidance suggested).

Sunday, June 14, 9-11 p.m. EDT (History) "World War II: Race to Victory." Premiere of a six-hour documentary series examining the uneasy alliance of Britain, the United States and the Soviet Union, a coalition that, despite power struggles, false promises and deadly suspicions, succeeded in securing victory in World War II. The miniseries continues Sundays, 9-11 p.m. EDT through June 28.

Tuesday, June 16, 9:30-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "The Virus: What Went Wrong?" The series "Frontline" asks why, as COVID-19 spread from Asia to the Middle East and on to Europe, the U.S. was caught so unprepared.

Wednesday, June 17, 8-9 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "EWTN Live." On this episode of the series, Ryan Grant discusses the works of St. Robert Bellarmine (1542-1621) and their relevance to the modern world (TV-G -- general audience).
