NEW YORK (OSV News) -- Here are some television program notes for the week of March 12, with their TV Parental Guidelines ratings if available. They have not been reviewed and therefore are not necessarily recommended by OSV News.

Sunday, March 12, 8-11 p.m. EDT (ABC) "Oscars 95" The 95th Academy Awards ceremony, broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.

Monday, March 13, 9-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Remember This." Actor David Strathairn plays reluctant World War II hero and Holocaust witness Jan Karski in this one-man fact-based story of moral courage and individual responsibility. A "Great Performances" presentation (TV-14 – parents strongly cautioned).

Tuesday, March 14, 9:30 a.m.-noon EDT (EWTN) "National Catholic Prayer Breakfast." Extended coverage of this annual event broadcast from Washington. (TV-G – general audience).

Thursday, March 16, 6:30-8 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "Opening Mass of 24 Hours for the Lord." The annual worldwide Lenten initiative “24 Hours For The Lord” begins with this Eucharistic liturgy at Washington.'s Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (TV-G – general audience). (The closing Mass will be broadcast Saturday, March 18, 4:30-6 p.m. EDT)

Friday, March 17, 9 p.m.-midnight EDT (PBS) "The Hours." This episode of the series "Great Performances at the Met" showcases the Metropolitan Opera's production of a new work based on author Virginia Woolf’s 1925 novel "Mrs. Dalloway" and starring Renée Fleming (TV-14 – parents strongly cautioned).
