Archbishop Seán P. O’Malley announced that two archdiocesan priests, Msgr. Frederick Murphy who spent many years in the formation of future priests and Father Eugene Curtin, a man whose entire priestly life has been in archdiocesan parishes, were granted senior priest/retirement status May 3 and May 31, 2005 respectively.
