NEW YORK (CNS) -- Here are some television program notes for the week of Oct. 27 with their TV Parental Guidelines ratings if available. They have not been reviewed and therefore are not necessarily recommended by Catholic News Service.

Sunday, Oct. 27, 4:45-7:45 a.m. EDT (EWTN) "Closing Mass of the Synod of Bishops." Pope Francis celebrates Mass to conclude the Synod of Bishops, which discussed the Amazon's religious and ecological pathways. Live from the Vatican. The liturgy will be rerun noon-3 p.m. EDT (TV-G -- general audience).

Tuesday, Oct. 29, 10-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Targeting El Paso." A look at how El Paso became President Donald Trump's immigration testing ground and then the target of a white supremacist. A "Frontline" presentation.

Friday, Nov. 1, noon-1:30 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "Solemn Mass of All Saints." Live broadcast of the liturgy for the solemnity of All Saints, broadcast live from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington. (TV-G -- general audience).

Friday, Nov. 1, 9-11:30 p.m. EDT (PBS) "42nd Street." This episode of the series "Great Performances" showcases a production of the popular musical about a young performer who gets her big Broadway break (TV-PG -- parental guidance suggested).

Friday, Nov. 1, 10:03-11:03 p.m. EDT (History) "Secrets of the Bible." The series "In Search of" goes on a hunt for two of the most famous treasures from the Bible, King Solomon's Mines and the Ark of the Covenant.
