  • Catholic Mass Today | Monday March 30, 2026 | CatholicTV Daily Mass

Welcome! Join The CatholicTV Network as we enter into the solemnity of Holy Week. Together, we draw closer to Jesus Christ as we prepare to celebrate the sacred Triduum and the victory of the Gospel. In today’s moving Homily, the celebrant reflects on the profound contrast between light and darkness found in the Bethany household just six days before Passover. We witness the "light" of Mary’s extravagant love as she anoints the feet of Jesus with costly oil, an act of pure devotion that fills the house with fragrance. Conversely, we see the "darkness" of Judas Iscariot, whose heart remained hardened despite years of walking with the Lord, blinded by self-interest and a lack of trust in divine mercy. This Mass is a powerful invitation to loosen our own hearts, to turn away from inward-looking self-interest, and to embrace the healing and forgiveness offered in the Sacrament of Reconciliation as we follow the "Just One" to His Passion. The Scriptures highlight the mission of the Servant and the preparation for Christ's burial: -The First Reading (Isaiah 42:1-7): The Lord speaks of His chosen Servant, upon whom He has put His Spirit to establish justice on the earth. This Servant is formed as a "covenant of the people" and a "light for nations," sent to open the eyes of the blind and rescue prisoners from the darkness of the dungeon. -The Responsorial Psalm (Ps 27): A song of confidence: "The Lord is my light and my salvation". -The Holy Gospel (John 12:1-11): Jesus returns to Bethany to dine with His friends Lazarus, Martha, and Mary. After Mary anoints Him, Jesus defends her against Judas' criticism, declaring, "Leave her alone. Let her keep this for the day of my burial". While a large crowd gathers to see both Jesus and the resurrected Lazarus, the chief priests plot to kill Lazarus as well, because his life has become a living testimony that leads many to believe in the Lord. May we keep safe the remedy of eternal salvation we have received, celebrating these paschal festivities with purity of heart and mind. Mass Chapters for Navigation -Introductory Rites / Penitential Act: 1:04 -Collect (Opening Prayer): 2:05 -First Reading: 2:34 -Responsorial Psalm: 3:50 -Gospel: 6:05 -Homily: 7:42 -Prayers Of The Faithful: 13:58 -Liturgy of the Eucharist Begins: 15:17 -Eucharistic Prayer / Consecration: 17:11 -The Lord's Prayer: 22:40 -Communion: 25:14 -Concluding Rites / Final Blessing: 27:15 Theological & Liturgical Context -Season: Monday of Holy Week / Passiontide. -Gospel Focus: The Fragrance of Devotion; Mary’s act of anointing prefigures the burial of Jesus, revealing that true discipleship involves an "extravagant" gift of self that holds nothing back from the Savior. -Homily Key Message: We are encouraged to "draw closer to Jesus" during this week; by examining the hardened hearts of the Pharisees and Judas, we are warned against self-interest and invited to seek "love, forgiveness, and great healing" through a good confession. • Catholic Mass Today | Saturday March 28, 2026 | CatholicTV Daily Mass

Welcome! Join The CatholicTV Network for the full Daily Catholic Mass celebration on this Saturday of the Fifth Week of Lent—our last day in the "desert" before we enter into the holiest of all weeks. In today’s reverent Homily, the celebrant reflects on the essential lessons of our Lenten journey: understanding the message God has for our lives and placing our deepest needs into His hands. Drawing from the prophecy of Ezekiel and the high priest’s unwitting prophecy in John’s Gospel, we explore the mystery of a God who gathers His scattered children into one. We are encouraged to embrace God's forgiveness and mercy, trusting that He who redeemed us by the death of His only begotten Son will not allow us to be weighed down by our trials. This Mass is a powerful invitation to become "sharers of his divine nature" as we prepare to follow Christ through His Passion. The Scriptures highlight the promise of an everlasting covenant and the cost of our redemption: -The First Reading (Ezekiel 37:21-28): The Lord God promises to take the children of Israel from among the nations and gather them back to their own land. He pledges to deliver them from their sins, make them one nation under one prince, and establish an everlasting covenant of peace with them, declaring: "My dwelling shall be with them; I will be their God, and they shall be my people". -The Responsorial Psalm (Jeremiah 31): A proclamation of restoration: "The Lord will guard us as a shepherd guards his flock". -The Holy Gospel (John 11:45-56): Following the raising of Lazarus, many Jews begin to believe in Jesus, causing the Sanhedrin to convene in fear. The high priest Caiaphas prophesies that "it is better for you that one man should die instead of the people," unknowingly speaking of how Jesus would die to gather into one the dispersed children of God. From that day on, they plot to kill Him, while the people look for Him in the temple, wondering if He will come to the feast. May the nourishment which comes from the most Holy Body and Blood of the Son make us true witnesses of His love as we enter into Holy Week. Mass Chapters for Navigation -Introductory Rites / Penitential Act: 0:59 -Collect (Opening Prayer): 2:33 -First Reading: 3:03 -Responsorial Psalm: 5:00 -Gospel: 7:46 -Homily: 9:37 -Prayers Of The Faithful: 13:43 -Liturgy of the Eucharist Begins: 15:49 -Eucharistic Prayer / Consecration: 16:30 -The Lord's Prayer: 23:05 -Communion: 25:09 -Concluding Rites / Final Blessing: 27:18 Theological & Liturgical Context -Season: Saturday of the Fifth Week of Lent. -Gospel Focus: The Inadvertent Prophecy; through Caiaphas, the Word reveals that the impending death of Jesus is not a tragic end but a divinely ordained sacrifice meant to unify the human family and reconcile the "dispersed children of God". -Homily Key Message: We are called to "draw into that which is essential"; as we leave the "desert" of Lent, we ask that our God be attentive to our supplications and protect us from being harmed by our sins or "weighed down by our trials". • Catholic Mass Today | Sunday March 29, 2026 | CatholicTV Daily Mass

Welcome! Join The CatholicTV Network as we begin this holiest of weeks celebrating Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord. Together, we enter into the sacred mysteries of our redemption, following our Savior from His triumphant entry into Jerusalem to the profound sacrifice of the Cross. In today’s moving Homily, Bishop Robert P. Reed reflects on how we should respond to the "tremendous display of divine love" revealed in the Passion. He invites us to meet this great act of self-sacrifice with deep gratitude and a commitment to imitation. By mirroring Christ's spirit of generosity and compassion, we turn our own acts of love into "cobblestones on the road to heaven". This Mass is a powerful invitation to let our attitudes be like that of Christ as we follow Him through suffering and death toward the hope of the Resurrection. The Scriptures highlight the prophetic suffering and the ultimate obedience of the Son of God: -The First Reading (Isaiah 50:4-7): The Prophet speaks of the "well-trained tongue" given by God to rouse the weary. He describes a servant who does not rebel but remains steadfast even through buffets and spitting, setting his "face like flint" in the knowledge that the Lord God is his help. -The Responsorial Psalm (Ps 22): A cry of both anguish and trust: "My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?". -The Second Reading (Philippians 2:6-11): St. Paul describes Christ’s total self-emptying—taking the form of a slave and becoming obedient to the point of death on a cross. Because of this humility, God exalted Him and bestowed the name at which every knee shall bend. -The Holy Gospel (Matthew 26:14–27:66): The Passion narrative recounts Jesus' trial before Pilate, His rejection by the crowd in favor of Barabbas, the mockery of the soldiers, and His crucifixion at Golgotha. As He gives up His spirit, the centurion declares, "Truly, this was the Son of God". May we be nourished by these sacred gifts and led to the fullness of what we believe as we follow Christ this week. Mass Chapters for Navigation -Introductory Rites / Penitential Act: 0:47 -Collect (Opening Prayer): 1:32 -First Reading: 2:14 -Responsorial Psalm: 3:10 -Second Reading: 5:05 -Gospel: 7:00 -Homily: 12:59 -Nicene Creed: 15:22 -Prayers of the Faithful: 16:44 -Liturgy of the Eucharist Begins: 17:40 -Eucharistic Prayer / Consecration: 18:42 -The Lord's Prayer: 23:49 -Communion: 25:20 -Concluding Rites / Final Blessing: 26:25 Theological & Liturgical Context -Season: Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord, the gateway to Holy Week. -Gospel Focus: The Kenosis (Self-Emptying) of Christ; through His suffering, Jesus reveals the heart of God’s mercy, gathering the human family into one and purchasing our justification through His death and resurrection. -Homily Key Message: We are called to "behold and to be grateful" for this personal show of love; our Lenten journey culminates in a call to follow Jesus’ way of generosity, ensuring that our lives mirror the light of the paschal candle. • DAILY CATHOLIC MASS 3/27/26 | The Hope of the Just: Trusting in God’s Deliverance Amidst Trial

Welcome! Join The CatholicTV Network for the full Daily Catholic Mass celebration on this Friday of the Fourth Week of Lent. We are pleased to have seminarian Timothy Walsh joining us as he prepares for his upcoming ordination. In today’s reverent Homily, Father Frank Silva reflects on the "unfailing protection" of the sacrifice we receive at the altar. Drawing from the stark warnings in the Book of Wisdom and the growing tension in the Gospel, Father Silva explores the reality of opposition faced by those who seek to live justly. We are encouraged to find peace of mind through the grace of God’s protection, trusting that He will drive far from us all that would do us harm. This Mass is a powerful invitation to serve the Lord with a pure heart as we near the conclusion of our Lenten journey and prepare for the Paschal Mystery. May the unfailing protection of Christ be with us today, driving away all evil and filling us with the peace that comes from serving Him. • DAILY CATHOLIC MASS 3/26/26 | Covenant of Fidelity: Honoring the Word and the Glory of the Father

Welcome! Join The CatholicTV Network for the full Daily Catholic Mass celebration on this Thursday of the Fifth Week of Lent as we open our hearts to the light and strength of God's presence. In today’s reverent Homily, Father Dan O'Connell reflects on the "presence of light and strength" that constantly beckons us forth. Drawing from the solemn covenant established with Abraham and Jesus’ bold proclamation of His eternal nature, Father Dan explores the depth of God’s fidelity to His people. We are encouraged to recognize the "Word" that brings life and to remain mindful of the mercy that calls us back whenever we stray. This Mass is a powerful invitation to follow the way of the Lord, trusting that through the "saving gifts" of the Eucharist, we are made partakers of life eternal. The Scriptures highlight the enduring nature of God's promises and the divinity of the Son: -The First Reading (Genesis 17:3-9): God enters into a covenant with Abram, changing his name to Abraham and promising to make him the father of a host of nations. The Lord pledges an everlasting covenant to be God to Abraham and his descendants, giving them the land of Canaan as a permanent possession, provided they keep the covenant throughout the ages. -The Responsorial Psalm (Ps 105): A reminder of divine constancy: "The Lord remembers his covenant forever". -The Holy Gospel (John 8:51-59): Jesus tells the Jews that whoever keeps His word will never see death. When they question His authority in relation to Abraham, Jesus reveals His pre-existence and divine identity, declaring: "Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM". Although they pick up stones to throw at Him, Jesus hides and leaves the temple area. May the Sacrament with which He feeds us in this present age prepare us to give glory to the Lord by our lives and welcome us into His eternal kingdom. Mass Chapters for Navigation -Introductory Rites / Penitential Act: 0:55 -Collect (Opening Prayer): 2:27 -First Reading: 3:09 -Responsorial Psalm: 4:30 -Gospel: 6:46 -Homily: 8:36 -Prayers Of The Faithful: 14:44 -Liturgy of the Eucharist Begins: 16:14 -Eucharistic Prayer / Consecration: 17:55 -The Lord's Prayer: 22:55 -Communion: 25:00 -Concluding Rites / Final Blessing: 27:08 Theological & Liturgical Context -Season: Thursday of the Fifth Week of Lent. -Gospel Focus: The Eternal "I AM"; Jesus reveals that His relationship with the Father precedes history, teaching that the "victory of Jesus over death" is rooted in His divine nature and that true life is found in the faithful keeping of His Word. -Homily Key Message: We are called to "be mindful of His presence," recognizing that our Lenten journey is a time to move away from the "way of another" and to be nourished by the "saving gifts" that make us partakers of eternal life. • SOLEMNITY OF THE ANNUNCIATION OF THE LORD 3/25/26 | Mary’s Fiat and the Dawn of Salvation

Welcome! Join The CatholicTV Network for the joyous celebration of the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. Today, we set aside the Lenten purple to wear white, celebrating the moment the Word was made flesh and the splendor of the Father was revealed in the Son of Mary. In today’s reverent liturgy, Father Carlos Suarez reflects on the "mysteries of the true faith" and the saving power of the Resurrection. We celebrate Jesus Christ as both true God and true man, conceived by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the Virgin Mary. This Mass is a beautiful invitation to confirm in our minds the profound truth of the Incarnation, asking for the grace to merit eternal joy through the same Spirit that overshadowed the Mother of God. The Scriptures highlight the fulfillment of ancient prophecy and the radical obedience of the Virgin: -The First Reading (Isaiah 7:10-14; 8:10): The Lord speaks to King Ahaz, offering a sign as deep as the netherworld or as high as the sky. When Ahaz refuses to ask, the Lord gives the definitive sign Himself: "The virgin shall be with child, and bear a son, and shall name him Emmanuel," which means "God is with us". -The Responsorial Psalm (Ps 40): A declaration of total surrender: "Here am I, Lord; I come to do your will". -The Second Reading (Hebrews 10:4-10): The author reflects on how Christ, entering the world, offered His own body as the perfect sacrifice, doing away with the old to establish the new will of God. -The Holy Gospel (Luke 1:26-38): The Angel Gabriel is sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to Joseph named Mary. The Angel greets her as "full of grace" and announces she will conceive a Son who will be called the Son of the Most High. Mary responds with her world-changing fiat: "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word". May the saving power of this mystery lead us to the fullness of charity and the eternal joy of the heavenly kingdom. Mass Chapters for Navigation -Introductory Rites / Penitential Act: 0:59 -Collect (Opening Prayer): 4:08 -First Reading: 4:51 -Responsorial Psalm: 5:45 -Second Reading: 7:33 -Gospel: 9:46 -Homily: 11:40 -Prayers Of The Faithful: 13:46 -Liturgy of the Eucharist Begins: 16:25 -Eucharistic Prayer / Consecration: 17:34 -The Lord's Prayer: 23:07 -Communion: 25:08 -Concluding Rites / Final Blessing: 27:05 Theological & Liturgical Context -Solemnity: The Annunciation of the Lord, celebrating the "splendor of the Father" becoming flesh to dwell among us. -Gospel Focus: The Mystery of the Incarnation; Jesus is revealed as the "true God and true man," the Son of David whose kingdom will have no end, established through the humble "yes" of a Virgin. -Homily Key Message: We are called to "confirm in our minds the mysteries of the true faith," acknowledging that our salvation began with this sacred encounter between heaven and earth. • DAILY CATHOLIC MASS 3/24/26 | The Bronze Serpent and the Cross: Impatience and Healing

Welcome! Join The CatholicTV Network for the full Daily Catholic Mass celebration on this Tuesday of the Fifth Week of Lent. In today’s insightful Homily, the celebrant reflects on the human struggle with patience and the transformative power of "looking up" to God. Drawing from the Israelites’ grumbling in the desert and Jesus’ solemn discourse with the Pharisees, he explores how our "worn-out patience" can lead us away from God’s providence. We are encouraged to persevere in obeying God's will, trusting that as we "seek what is divine," we grow in both merit and number. This Mass is a powerful invitation to recognize the "One who sent" Jesus and to believe that when the Son of Man is lifted up, He draws all people to the truth of the Father. The Scriptures highlight the consequences of infidelity and the promise of life through the Cross: -The First Reading (Numbers 21:4-9): With their patience worn out by the journey, the children of Israel complain against God and Moses, despising the "wretched food" of the manna. After seraph serpents bite the people, they repent, and the Lord instructs Moses to make a bronze serpent and mount it on a pole. Anyone who is bitten and looks upon the bronze serpent survives. -The Responsorial Psalm (Ps 102): A plea for divine attention: "O Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry come to you". -The Holy Gospel (John 8:21-30): Jesus warns the Pharisees that they will die in their sins if they do not believe that "I AM". He proclaims that only when they have "lifted up the Son of Man" will they realize His true identity and His perfect union with the Father. As He speaks these words, many come to believe in Him. May we always be worthy to approach these heavenly gifts as we continue our Lenten pilgrimage toward the Paschal Mystery. Mass Chapters for Navigation -Introductory Rites / Penitential Act: 0:55 -Collect (Opening Prayer): 1:40 -First Reading: 2:09 -Responsorial Psalm: 3:34 -Gospel: 6:42 -Homily: 8:28 -Prayers Of The Faithful: 13:57 -Liturgy of the Eucharist Begins: 15:08 -Eucharistic Prayer / Consecration: 16:30 -The Lord's Prayer: 22:57 -Communion: 25:04 -Concluding Rites / Final Blessing: 27:00 Theological & Liturgical Context -Season: Tuesday of the Fifth Week of Lent. -Gospel Focus: The Mystery of the "I AM"; Jesus uses the divine name to reveal His ontological unity with the Father, teaching that His upcoming crucifixion is not a defeat but the definitive revelation of His salvific power. -Homily Key Message: We are called to "perseverance in obeying your will"; our Lenten journey is a time to move past our "old earthly ways" and be renewed by growth in the heavenly life that Christ offers to those who believe. • DAILY CATHOLIC MASS 3/23/26 | Innocence Vindicated: Susanna, the Woman of Adultery, and the Truth

Welcome! Join The CatholicTV Network for the full Daily Catholic Mass celebration on this Monday of the Fifth Week of Lent. In today’s reverent Homily, the celebrant explores the theme of divine vindication and the power of truth to set us free. Drawing from the dramatic rescue of Susanna and Jesus’ encounter with the woman caught in adultery, we are reminded that God is "completely good" and knows what is hidden in every human heart. We are encouraged to "pass from former ways to newness of life," trusting that our Divine Physician does not condemn us but invites us to a life of grace and peace. This Mass is a powerful invitation to "hasten our steps upward" toward God, allowing His wondrous grace to enrich us with every blessing as we prepare for the solemnity of Holy Week. The Scriptures highlight the contrast between human judgment and the justice of the Lord: -The First Reading (Daniel 13:41-62): The assembly condemns the innocent Susanna to death based on the false testimony of two wicked elders. Susanna cries out to the eternal God, who knows what is hidden, and the Lord stirs up the holy spirit of a young boy named Daniel. Through his wisdom, Daniel exposes the elders' lies, proving that God "saves those who hope in him" and that Susanna's innocence is vindicated. -The Responsorial Psalm (Ps 23): A song of ultimate trust: "Even though I walk in the dark valley, I fear no evil; for you are at my side". -The Holy Gospel (John 8:1-11): Scribes and Pharisees bring a woman caught in adultery to Jesus, seeking to trap Him. Jesus stoops to write on the ground before saying, "Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her". When they all drift away, Jesus tells the woman, "Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin any more". May the blessing of the Sacraments constantly cleanse us of our faults and make us ready for the glory of the heavenly kingdom. Mass Chapters for Navigation -Introductory Rites / Penitential Act: 1:03 -Collect (Opening Prayer): 1:51 -First Reading: 2:25 -Responsorial Psalm: 5:35 -Gospel: 8:29 -Homily: 10:19 -Prayers Of The Faithful: 16:55 -Liturgy of the Eucharist Begins: 18:20 -Eucharistic Prayer / Consecration: 19:13 -The Lord's Prayer: 24:37 -Communion: 26:20 -Concluding Rites / Final Blessing: 27:15 Theological & Liturgical Context -Season: Monday of the Fifth Week of Lent. -Gospel Focus: The Divine Pardon; Jesus transcends the trap set by His opponents, revealing that God’s justice is inseparable from His mercy—He alone has the authority to judge, yet He chooses to offer restoration and a path away from sin. -Homily Key Message: We are called to "hasten our steps upward" toward God; by recognizing that Jesus is "wisdom, patience, and peace," we find the courage to face our own hidden truths and receive the "newness of life" promised through His sacrifice.
