Catholic Charities has named Kenneth P. Binder as its vice president of development. He joined Catholic Charities on Feb. 7. Binder has almost 30 years of professional management experience, with the focus over the last 20 years in development and fundraising. Since 1997, he served as vice president for institutional advancement at Rivier College in Nashua, N.H. “Ken brings a wealth of knowledge with him to Catholic Charities,” said Kevin Broughton, Catholic Charities executive director. “His experience with board development, prospect research and planned giving programs will guide Catholic Charities in the direction it needs to go.”

Binder will oversee and direct activities for the development department while developing agencywide long-range goals and objectives. “I am very excited about my new position at Catholic Charities,” Binder said. “I believe in the mission, and I look forward to promoting it to the many friends of Catholic Charities as well as other members of the community.”
