During the first three weeks of March, boys and girls basketball teams from parishes and schools throughout the Archdiocese of Boston competed in this year's annual CYO Championship Basketball Tournament.

Around 70 teams were invited to participate in the championship games, out of the estimated 200 parish teams and 150 school teams in the archdiocese.

With the tournament now over, 11 teams, each from a different division, have been crowned the winners. All of them have been invited to represent the archdiocese in the 2016 New England CYO Tournament, hosted by the Diocese of Bridgeport, Conn., April 1-3.

The Office of Faith Formation of Youth and Young Adults provided The Pilot with scores from the final games in the Championship Tournament.
