Caritas Norwood Hospital recently elected Don Rodman of Canton, Gail Douglas, RN, MPH of Millis and George Usevich of Norwood to its board of trustees. Rodman, president of Rodman Ford of Foxboro, is a long-time supporter of the hospital and former co-chair of the new emergency department’s capital campaign in 2002-2003. Known for his philanthropic leadership throughout the Boston area, he was proclaimed a Knight by Pope John Paul II and elected Knight of the Order of St. Gregory the Great. Douglas, an associate dean of students and associate professor of health services at Boston University School of Public Health, has been affiliated with many health-care organizations over the years and is past president of the Massachusetts Public Health Organization. She has received recognition from Emmanuel College and the Boston University School of Public Health. Usevich, the current principal of Norwood Senior High School, is a past selectman and past chairman of the board of selectmen in Norwood, as well as past president of the Norwood Scholarship Foundation.
