Sacred Heart High School junior Katelyn Kelliher of Plymouth and freshman Michael Gerhard of Halifax compete in the pie-eating contest held during the Kingston school’s annual field day June 1. The afternoon event was sponsored by the student council and included a cookout prepared by school faculty, volleyball, football, a water balloon toss, a pie-eating contest, a giant slip and slide and tug-of-war. In addition, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) sponsored an island-themed slush bar, ice cream novelties, a dunk tank and a “Click-it or Ticket” game.
