Local Catholic Memorial state champs
The Catholic Memorial High Basketball team celebrated at the DCU Center in Worcester on Saturday, March 15 after defeating Tantasqua 74-56 and winning the Division 2 State Title. The state title victory for the school was the first since 1969. The Knights ended Tantasqua’s two season winning streak of 49 wins in a row and led by Coach Denis Tobin, end the season at 22-4.
