Religious Education Position Available

Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Leominster has an opening for a Director or Coordinator of Religious Education. Our Lady of the Lake is a vibrant parish community of 1200 families imbued with the spirit of Vatican II. The program has approximately 300 students from grades 1-11. We have just begun to implement the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and the successful candidate would need to embrace this model of catechesis for our youngest members.
The applicant would need to be familiar with the current methodologies of religious education in the Roman Catholic Tradition. The candidate should have a Master's degree in with a concentration in Religious Education or its equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in this area would also be considered.
Catechist training, budgetary experience and Safe Environment training are essential to this position. This position will require a seasoned professional who possesses a pastoral approach to this ministry in the spirit of the Merciful Face of the Church.
Salary is competitive with the experience presented.
